As an international student, I have been in Canada for more than four years.  During this time, lots of people talked about Canadian Human rights with me.  Some of them always say that Canada is what kind of good country.  Here you can enjoy your freedom and possess 100% human rights.  Maybe they are right to some degree. However I am not agree with them at all.  Following I'm going to evaluate my point of view.

 

First, as a visa student in Paris, you can get government rental allowance monthly.  Meanwhile, you do not have pay some ridiculous expensive tuition fee like in Canada.  Here I've to pay 2-3 times higher tuition fees than  those immigrants and other citizens.  I doubt Canadian Charter of Rights which states everyone is equal no matter their skin color, language, or others.  I really feel confused about it. Maybe international students shoud not be treated as human in Canada...

 

Second, visa students are not allowed to work in Canada by law.  While my cousin is in Pairs, he is allowed to work there by government. Also he is working.  Oh, I forgot "I'm not a human being in Canada by law.

"so I should not have my human rights as well... I guess... Therefore I can't work in Canada, or I''ll be sent back to my country if I work in Canada which means I break the law... I don't understand these so-called BS.  Maybe I didn't deserve  a Bachelor degree in a Canadian University.  

 

Third, the government did freeze the tuition last sermester after election.  However, all the international students tuition fees are skyrocket.  My roommate just entered York, and she is paying $1480 for one course one semester.  Jee...  Again, I forgot I'm not going to be treated as human in Canada I believe.  No wonder fewer people are coming to Canada since last year.  I guess they just realized it.

 

Oh... unfortunately I lost my human rights in Canada, since I'm from a third world country, where I can basically do more things there and enjoy possess  my human rights there... Maybe there is so-called Capitalism which is really different from communism. ;=)
